Pretoria: Tshwane apologises to bus commuters

The City of Tshwane would like to profusely apologise to the bus commuters that were left stranded due to the problem experienced with fuel at the city’s depots this morning.

The fuel problem was caused by a transitional glitch between the previous service provider, whose contract has expired and the newly appointed service provider. The city’s Corporate and Fleet Management has made a temporary arrangement for the refueling of the city’s fleet at a specific fuel station and small quantities of fuel have been sent to various depots to alleviate the problem.

With effect from tomorrow there will be regular supply of fuel at all the depots and bus operations are expected to return to normal.
